I am currently a third year Physical Therapy student at IU – Indy and have been a certified ACSM Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist for almost 5 years. I enjoy spending my free time outside hiking and exploring as well as in the gym. My passion is working with children with special needs and motor disabilities, and I hope to work in the Pediatric PT realm after graduation! Background: Health and fitness has been a passion of mine for many years. Although I played multiple sports growing up, softball (pitching) is my first love and took precedence throughout high school and college. I taught a lot of spin throughout high school, college, and post grad, and while I love the atmosphere and camaraderie of group fitness, the relationship and rapport built with one-on-one clients is something I highly value. I work with all age groups of varying fitness levels and always look forward to the challenge those differences bring. Although I’m partial to cardio based workouts (i.e. HIIT, circuit training, spin), after years of weightlifting as an athlete I am confident in both.

Main Goal as a Trainer: My main goal is to help you achieve your personal goal(s) while providing you all the necessary information to do so. From programming to nutrition, I want all clients to feel fully confident in their knowledge and ability to reach their goals. Whether that goal be weight loss, gaining muscle mass, or simply obtaining an overall healthier lifestyle, it is my aim to ensure you fully understand and trust the process. Your success is my main goal!

Krista Hoose is a Butler University graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.  She is an ACE-certified personal trainer and fitness and nutrition writer.  Krista’s niche is sports performance, as she is a 3:38 marathoner and has represented Indiana in the USTA NTRP National Championships tennis tournament in both singles and doubles.

Krista’s goal as a trainer is to help others develop healthy lifestyle habits that will reduce medication utilization for metabolic diseases due to inactivity and nutritional choices.  She believes that medication alone is not always the answer and that many ailments may improve by making healthy choices.  She is very passionate about helping others incorporate purposeful physical activity into daily life, especially during the pandemic.  “Exercise impacts every aspect of well-being, including immunity.  Even those who do not feel comfortable working out inside a gym can still get a quality workout at home with a personal trainer!”

Main Goal as a Trainer: My goal as a trainer is not just to help a client reach their goals, but also help
them understand how powerful and strong they are, to show them how their discipline in the gym and
fitness can be used in everyday life. I also aim to make the daily life of a client that much easier from a
movement perspective, to feel less pain throughout the day. I want my clients to not only be happy
about their results, but also fall in love with the process that it takes to get there.
Niche as a Trainer: I believe that my niche as a trainer is that I understand that we all come from
different areas of life and we have different goals, learn, and understand in our own ways. So, I am able
to help tailor workouts to your current physical level and goals. I can meet you where you are and am
able to help you build up your confidence in yourself, whether you’re completely new to the gym, or you
are a gym rat. I am here to help you to bring out the best in you.
Personal Goals: Some of my personal goals include doing more Fun runs, 5Ks, sports activities like
soccer, increasing my knowledge through books, videos, certifications, conferences, and getting down to
around 10% body fat. I want to increase my overall confidence in myself and be create the person I
know I have deep inside me.

Main Goal as a Trainer: To help my clients see their full potential and realize they are stronger than they think they are, I want them to be proud of themselves. And I want to leave each person better than they came whether it is helping them lose weight, gain muscle, or just to overall feel better about who they are! Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves. 


Niche as a trainer: My niche as a trainer is that I am patient and understanding. I have had lots of struggles myself that clients can relate to and connect with. I understand how hard the process can be and it has given me the tools to help all of my clients whether it be weight loss, weight gain, or building muscle etc. I have done all of the above

Personal Goals: My Personal goals include furthering my education through certifications, different courses, and conferences. I would also like to continue to travel to places I have never been to as well as own my own business one day!
