I am currently a third year Physical Therapy student at IU – Indy and have been a certified ACSM Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist for almost 5 years. I enjoy spending my free time outside hiking and exploring as well as in the gym. My passion is working with children with special needs and motor disabilities, and I hope to work in the Pediatric PT realm after graduation! I am looking forward to working and training with you all!

Niche as a trainer: Exercise truly is the best medicine. With my background in exercise science and what I currently am learning in the classroom with OT, my niche is helping people take charge of all aspects of their health. Specifically, with women at any life stage who are ready to make a change or get back into fitness after baby.
Personal Goals: After graduation, I want to work in women's health and help women find their place in the fitness world. My personal fitness goal is to eventually run a Disney Marathon!
Education: BS in Exercise Science, MS in Kinesiology, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, I'm in the process of completing the Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification and my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at UIndy.

Krista Hoose is a Butler University graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.  She is an ACE-certified personal trainer and fitness and nutrition writer.  Krista’s niche is sports performance, as she is a 3:38 marathoner and has represented Indiana in the USTA NTRP National Championships tennis tournament in both singles and doubles.

Krista’s goal as a trainer is to help others develop healthy lifestyle habits that will reduce medication utilization for metabolic diseases due to inactivity and nutritional choices.  She believes that medication alone is not always the answer and that many ailments may improve by making healthy choices.  She is very passionate about helping others incorporate purposeful physical activity into daily life, especially during the pandemic.  “Exercise impacts every aspect of well-being, including immunity.  Even those who do not feel comfortable working out inside a gym can still get a quality workout at home with a personal trainer!”

Main Goal as a Trainer: My goal as a trainer is not just to help a client reach their goals, but also help
them understand how powerful and strong they are, to show them how their discipline in the gym and
fitness can be used in everyday life. I also aim to make the daily life of a client that much easier from a
movement perspective, to feel less pain throughout the day. I want my clients to not only be happy
about their results, but also fall in love with the process that it takes to get there.
Niche as a Trainer: I believe that my niche as a trainer is that I understand that we all come from
different areas of life and we have different goals, learn, and understand in our own ways. So, I am able
to help tailor workouts to your current physical level and goals. I can meet you where you are and am
able to help you build up your confidence in yourself, whether you’re completely new to the gym, or you
are a gym rat. I am here to help you to bring out the best in you.
Personal Goals: Some of my personal goals include doing more Fun runs, 5Ks, sports activities like
soccer, increasing my knowledge through books, videos, certifications, conferences, and getting down to
around 10% body fat. I want to increase my overall confidence in myself and be create the person I
know I have deep inside me.
Education: Graduated Indiana University in 2020 with a Degree in Fitness and Wellness, and a minor in
Psychology

Main Goal as a Trainer: My main goal is to make sure my clients not only reach and surpass their goals, but also to have fun doing it. I want every client to understand that a very large part of training is mental. If you are mentally strong and truly believe in yourself, the sky is the limit!

Niche as a Trainer: My niche as a trainer is that I am very friendly and I'm very passionate about training. Having strong communication skills will not only make the workouts more fun, but it will also help build trust. I am so passionate about this because I love training! After working with me, you will not only have perfect form, but you will also reach your goals faster than with any other trainer!

Personal Goals: When it comes to fitness, my ultimate goal would be to become a strength coach for a collegiate football team! I'm a huge Ohio State fan (O-H), so the dream would be to become their head strength coach!
